Slow Down!!

I am soo behind on blogging. Where ever do I start, there is so much to say and so much to update. Slowly but surely I will get caught up, somehow, I promise! To keep your interest I thought I would share this video I shot today of our handsome little Hatcher. He started walking, behind his walkers, a few days before he turned nine months...he just turned nine months on the fifth. We won't be surprised if he starts walking this month, we can't slow this sweetheart down! Enjoy, he truly is the most precious little boy God ever made. (only I am somewhat sweet on another little boy who has grown to be an amazing husband and father - love you babe!)

Out of our lion (boyish), train (boyish) and pink car - the pink car is his favorite walker. It has the best stability and is a better height for him. We promise he is a 'manly' little boy!

Welcome Home Mama Mae!

Mama Mae, we are so excited to hear you are out of the hospital and home! We love you so much and hope you can eat and rest better at home so that you can get your strength back. We are sending lots of warm hugs and kisses your way. Keep getting better, WE LOVE YOU!!

Hayes sums it up...

We Love Surprises!

Monday evening (October 25) we got a surprise call from Mingie that she was about thirty minutes away from our house en route to Corpus Christi. We were so excited! Mingie and her friend Sherry were heading to a conference so we gladly had them over for dinner. Mingie was so excited to see how much Hatcher had grown and could understand much more of what Hayes said...the girl talks, talks, and talks some more. Love it!! Hatcher and I had a quick errand to run after dropping Hayes off at school Tuesday morning and ran into Mingie at the shopping center. More surprises! How fun! That Friday Greg and Sissy and Lou Ann and Sherry stopped by on their way through San Antonio for an ultra quick visit. It was so good seeing everyone, if only for a short time. We are glad you all made it safely to your destinations. We love you!

Gigi and Pa Pa

Craig has been traveling quite a bit lately and even though I have gotten the day and night solo routine down pat it was nice to have my parents come for a visit. Craig made it back from Phoenix Tuesday night late and my parents arrived Wednesday. Dad left Friday morning and my mom stayed a bit longer since Craig was going to Del Rio to a fishing tournament and to fish at Lake Falcon with Greg. The kids and I had a lot of fun with Gigi and loved that she was able to stay. Dad came back the next weekend to stay a few days and take Gigi back north. Thanks mom and dad!! We love you!!

A quick picture before they headed back across the river. Wait until you see what went in the empty space above the mantel!

Hayes and Gigi blowing bubbles at the park.

Hatcher and Gigi showing their support for our beloved OSU Cowboys...Go Pokes!!

Gigi helping Hayes get her helmet just right.

Hatcher enjoying his last kitchen sink bath with Gigi. Notice her shirt, he learned to soak everything around him!!

Pa Pa and his only grandson.
A quick trip to Bass Pro Shops.

Hayes really enjoyed sharing bubba's applesauce!

Our big boy sitting in his own high chair at dinner, complete with some sugar!

Hayes enjoyed showing Pa Pa how all the games at Chuck E. Cheese worked.

Hatcher enjoying his visit from Gigi and Pa Pa. They hadn't seen him in a few months. Wow, how he has grown!

Big Boy!

Hatcher's six month well baby visit went very well. Doctor Benbow was very pleased with Hatch's progress and was very happy that, in his words, he is a good old fashioned breast only baby...plus the solids that he now eats. We love that Doctor Benbow is 'old school'! Hatcher was in the 50% in every category (weighing in at 16 pounds 13 ounces) except height. Our little Hatcher man is in the 75% in height. No wonder he eats so well, he is going to be a big boy! We love you Hatcher man!!

Hatcher loves to "drive" mommy's car after he has a nice full belly.

How adorable is this sweetheart?!!!
