Hatch Man is One!!

Hatcher's birthday party was fun, fun, fun! We had a bouncing house/slide combo, snow cone machine and bubble machine...which kept all the kids (young and old) busy. The weather was just perfect and we were so happy to share Hatcher's special day with family and friends. We topped off the morning with a yummy fajita lunch catered by mommy and daddy. We are so thankful for our handsome Hatcher man. He loved his special day, we just don't know what was his favorite part. He loved the cake, all the extra hugs, the wrapping on the gifts, the snow cones, bubbles and maybe most of all his new squeaky shoes...they just made him run that much faster! We love you Hatcher!!

Happy Birthday Hatcher!

We had cookies, cupcakes, cake and...

Fruit shish-ka-bobs with yummy dip. I had a lot of fun making and decorating all the food. I was worried that the 'boyish' cake wouldn't be as cute as the pink 'girly' cake I made for Hayes 1st birthday but I loved how it turned out. The red icing made a real statement as Hatcher dove into that big fat one on top!

Here is the birthday boy in his birthday outfit mommy made. Thanks Mingie for helping me take in his shorts...they were a little too wide. :)

Jackpot!

Sweet Baby Hayes all smiles!

Birthday boy!

Here is a close up of his birthday shirt. I loved how it turned out! The Monogramming Mamacita is really beginning to love her machine! My website won't be up until August...I stay super busy just with orders from friends right now. Fun hobby!

Happy Easter!

Better late than never...the love of our lives!!

We spent a wonderful Easter in Oklahoma with Gigi and Pa Pa. We didn't get to see aunt Ginger, uncle Jon or Hannah and Mya. Hopefully next time. After church and a pizza buffet, both kids must be Italian, we headed to the local Easter egg hunt. It was just sprinkling but by the time the egg hunt started it was pouring. The rubber boots came in very handy! Hayes had a ball and she and daddy got soaked. She loved that part too! Hatcher stayed in the back of the Sequoia with me and had fun running around playing while staying dry. We love you all!

Slow Down!!

I am soo behind on blogging. Where ever do I start, there is so much to say and so much to update. Slowly but surely I will get caught up, somehow, I promise! To keep your interest I thought I would share this video I shot today of our handsome little Hatcher. He started walking, behind his walkers, a few days before he turned nine months...he just turned nine months on the fifth. We won't be surprised if he starts walking this month, we can't slow this sweetheart down! Enjoy, he truly is the most precious little boy God ever made. (only I am somewhat sweet on another little boy who has grown to be an amazing husband and father - love you babe!)

Out of our lion (boyish), train (boyish) and pink car - the pink car is his favorite walker. It has the best stability and is a better height for him. We promise he is a 'manly' little boy!

Welcome Home Mama Mae!

Mama Mae, we are so excited to hear you are out of the hospital and home! We love you so much and hope you can eat and rest better at home so that you can get your strength back. We are sending lots of warm hugs and kisses your way. Keep getting better, WE LOVE YOU!!

Hayes sums it up...

We Love Surprises!

Monday evening (October 25) we got a surprise call from Mingie that she was about thirty minutes away from our house en route to Corpus Christi. We were so excited! Mingie and her friend Sherry were heading to a conference so we gladly had them over for dinner. Mingie was so excited to see how much Hatcher had grown and could understand much more of what Hayes said...the girl talks, talks, and talks some more. Love it!! Hatcher and I had a quick errand to run after dropping Hayes off at school Tuesday morning and ran into Mingie at the shopping center. More surprises! How fun! That Friday Greg and Sissy and Lou Ann and Sherry stopped by on their way through San Antonio for an ultra quick visit. It was so good seeing everyone, if only for a short time. We are glad you all made it safely to your destinations. We love you!

Sweet Siblings

Just had to share some pictures of our two blessings. Love, love, LOVE these kiddos!!

Beautiful fall weather.

Bubba is snoozing (thank goodness for Hayes nap mat in the car) while sister enjoys a milkshake.

Too cute!

True love!

Their first bath together. Hayes enjoys filling up Hatcher's tub and Hatcher adores watching Hayes!

A good big sister helps her little brother as he learns how to drink from a cup.
